I've downloaded the ungodly amount of patches for the game and made sure it was up to date, I made an exception in my firewall and anti-virus, I turned off my firewall and antivirus.everything I could think of, but same error every time I try to start it. I've updated my drivers, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I get an error saying, "RelicCOH has stopped working." The game won't even open, just an instant error message. I tried opening the game executable, but the game won't event start. I hadn't played for about 6 months, but wanted to come back and play through it again recently. It seems the first run the min frame rate is lwoer due to caching of textures or objects perhaps the min fps was half of the 2nd and 3rd run, also you will see my desktop nvidia control panel settings as above they might factor in so try those settings.I've played the COH games for years COH, Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor. I ran the internal benchmark 3 times, here are the following results. My screen resolution is 1920x1200 16:10 aspect ratio Game settings - everything on ultra / max settings including physics, Anti aliasing on x4 model detail max sound effects on ultra with reverb on. Texture filtering negative LOD bias - Allow Power management mode - Prefer maximum performance Multi display mixed GPU acceleration - Singe display performance mode Hard Drive Western Digital 1TB black edition 7200RPM Intel Core i5 (750 series 1st gen) 4x 2.66GHz 8MB lvl 3 cache Here is a benchmark i ran some time back for another user to compare performance: ![]() Also have you made sure that your nvidia control panel is customised properly for performance mode under power options etc. ![]()
